The following is an excerpt from an email sent by Daniel Leal. I used Google Translate to provide the English and then I took some liberty in editing it so it sounds like what I thought it was really saying. Any corrections are welcome. Thanks – Lorraine

Your life of Nazerth can be anywhere: go to a place where you can be more useful to others.
"We must go through the desert and stay there to receive the grace of God; it is where we empty ourselves, the self-check (examen or review or shed) everything that is not God."
The fraternities of Suriyaco and Las Talas, located a few kilometers from each other, although they lasted a short time, were of great importance to the life of the brothers in Argentina. Their journey included both the contemplative worship of adoration of the Eucharist and desert time, along with a daily life (commitments, community outreach) lived with great intensity, such as the close link between the brothers and Bishop Enrique Angelelli of La Rioja (in photo below).
The grain of wheat sown in the land of Suriyaco, has become the fruit named Patricio ... witness of life and commitment that encourages us to continue the journey and the mission of service among the poor.
