...in the sense of a gift,
...in the sense of today,
A gift for today
This gift is life, which triumphs over death,
Love, which triumphs over hate, and which opens up ways
...the way of the cross to life,
...from suffering, from tears to joy,
...from chains, from oppression to freedom,
...from solitude, to solidarity,
...from the power of Death to the service of Life.
It is the way of Jesus of Nazareth,
Who died and is risen,
"the way, the truth, and the life".
