“On a enlevé le Seigneur de son tombeau, et je ne sais pas où on l’a mis!” (Jean 20, 13)

"They have taken the Lord from the tomb, and I do not know where they have laid"(John 20, 13)
Mary, Mary, why worry? His gaze landed on you, thee one day overturned. But do you fear today that the dampness of the tomb in the hope fades once placed in you?
Oh look! That's him! He calls you by your name! He awaits your faith!
Entered into glory, He will now be in the Heart of your heart, Life of your life! Will you accept to become a "living stone" for his Church? Gone before you to Galilee and the suffering of those without God? And we, will we join you there?
Arise! Sing our joy! The Risen Christ draws us into his Passover!
Happy Easter to every one of you!

Thank you Alain for posting the images by Marc Chagall.
He was an artist close to his faith and even more to his Jewish culture and traditions. Color is the more sensory element than line and "gets to us." The point is that beauty, and art is a form of beauty, can be transformative. It can be even a Prayer given and received.
There are many contemporary artists who are struggling (in a good way) to create beauty that speaks to our spiritual life here and now.
